Can we legally marry at Emerald Hummingbird?

Yes. As long as we complete the required Notice of Intended Marriage and the property owner permits ceremony use, it’s legally valid.

How many guests can we have?

The property accommodates the couple only, sleeping a maximum of two guests.

For your ceremony, you may host up to six guests onsite for an intimate elopement.

If you’re planning for a larger guest list, the beautiful park directly across the road is a wonderful option. Council permits may apply for park ceremonies.

Can our dog be part of the ceremony?

We happily welcome up to two dogs.

They’ll need to stay indoors at night, can’t be left alone at the property, and we simply ask that you clean up after them in the garden.

How far is it from Adelaide?

You can hold an intimate garden wedding in Willunga right at the property — ideal for a private elopement or small gathering with your closest people. It’s quiet, self-contained and completely pet friendly.

Directly across the road is a large, leafy park in the heart of town, making it a wonderful option for a Willunga park wedding or slightly larger micro ceremony. Council permits are required for park ceremonies, and we can guide you through the process. Our styling packages below can also be added to elevate the space while keeping the look simple and elegant.
