$99 total
We’ll confirm the scope with you before you pay.
Request KISS assistance — $99One KISS invoice, clearly itemised. When you book a wedding package with KISS and choose council assistance, your invoice includes your wedding package, the $99 council administration fee and the council’s confirmed location or permit fees at cost. This payment arrangement is subject to the council allowing KISS to pay on your behalf. You pay KISS first, then we pay the council.
Any bond is separate. We ask the council to invoice you directly for any required bond, or confirm its direct-payment process with you. You pay the bond directly to the council.
If the council declines your location booking, KISS will refund any council-fee money we still hold and help you find another location. The $99 administration fee is retained for the enquiry work and help finding an alternative.
For fees already paid to the council, we will check its refund terms and pass on any refund received. We will confirm any different location costs with you before proceeding. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You remain the applicant or hirer where required and complete any forms, declarations or signatures the council needs from you. You are responsible for meeting the council’s conditions for your booking, including setup, pack-down, clean-up and use of the space.
The $99 covers enquiry assistance. It does not guarantee availability, council approval or exclusive use of a public space. Your location booking is confirmed only when the council provides written approval.
Contact the council or venue’s bookings team with your preferred date, time, guest numbers and ceremony plans. Include your exact location, arrival and pack-down times.
Ask for the current application, fees, hire conditions and written approval. Check who handles each part of the booking.
Choose celebrant, photography and styling services. Your written quote confirms what KISS arranges and any separate venue or permit costs.
Check the route from parking to the ceremony, steps and ground surfaces, accessible toilets and opening hours. Share any mobility needs before choosing the site. Ask about pets if you want to bring yours.
Confirm a weather alternative, guest capacity, chairs, signing table, arch, music and supplier access. Ask whether the area stays open to other visitors during your ceremony.
Request a written quote and application deadline. Check the named hirer, any bond, key collection, cleaning, cancellation and relocation arrangements.
Replace the bracketed details and send this to the council or venue contact. Include a marked map or site photograph if it helps identify the spot.
